It’s Halloween and No Public Outcry Against Witches, Goblins, or Mummies

The streets, houses, and stores have all been decorated for Halloween for weeks now with no public outcry about how narrow minded and opinion imposing, people are who celebrate this gruesome, demonic and scary holiday. No threats to sue for public display of pictures and costumes related to these beliefs. I would assume the reason why is because they are not Christian beliefs.

Mean while, most Americans encourage their children and even themselves to dress up in costumes that look like dead people, witches, ghosts, and goblins. I must admit there are other costumes too that aren’t so scary and may even be cute, but the point is there is no public outcry against any of it, although Witchcraft is a recognized religion in this country. So where are the anti religion activists on this holiday?

In a couple of months most Americans will be celebrating another holiday where there is often an abundance of public outcry against it if you call it Christmas. The anti religion activists are out in great numbers during this holiday if anyone dresses up like Joseph or Mary or even a donkey in a stable.

In the end times wrong will be thought of as right and right will be thought of as wrong. That should tell you something.

About Kathy

I am semi retired and had lots of free time on my hands. I still work part time as a bookkeeper at the little hardware store in our small town but I still had free time to fill so I became a blogger here at The Harley Factor. I also am a compulsive beader so I started a beading blog to show off my bead work call Compulsive Beading. As I have gotten older and mostly wiser I have become very opinionated on a lot of subjects and will share them with you from time to time when I can't keep my mouth shut. Kathy Sinclair
