Veterans Are Dieing While Waiting for Appointments

This is shameful. The VA is back in the news this time in Phoenix, for allegedly having a secret list for appointments to falsely show they are getting Vets in for appointments in a timely manner. In the mean time some of these Vets are dying before they can see a doctor. I want to say first that I in no way blame the everyday, dedicated, and caring VA employees for this problem. I know several of them personally and know how dedicated they are to helping this counties Veterans. Every doctor, nurse, therapist, and social worker who works day to day with our veterans have only the Vets best interest at heart. I admire all of them for their hard work. In my mind it is the government bureaucracy that has caused all of the problems.

This video is concerning North Carolina, but as you can see, this problem is probably nation wide and it’s our Wounded Warriors who are paying the price of big government bureaucracy. Veterans from the Viet Nam era to our current veterans.

Just like most government scandals these days, no one has been held accountable and probably won’t be.

About Kathy

I am semi retired and had lots of free time on my hands. I had always thought there must be some way to really make money on line, but I just never had the time to investigate it until the last year or so. I decided to get some professional help in that area and it has paid off. My husband has a Harley and I really enjoy riding along with him. We belong to a motorcycle club and enjoy the rides with others who love it too. I didn’t become a “Motorcycle Mama” until I was 60, but I have come to love all that’s involved. That’s when I thought: Why not make money at something I really like and develop a website to sell those things? So I did with http://lovetheride.net Besides, my husband wants to retire before his bike is paid for and I would like to help him along in that goal. I hope you will help by visiting my site and following this blog. Kathy Sinclair

  1. This is another example of “In Your face Corruption” by people who work for us. This wasn’t about health care for our veterans. It was about bilking us out of more hard earned money from us, the tax payer. Government overreach and corruption will be the end of our great country.

    • I agree SK, it’s not just the VA, but every government agency out there. I wish this country could just start over again with the basic constitution and term limits.

  2. Reblogged this on These Christian Times and commented:
Do not tell me that there is not a conspiracy afoot concerning a secret list on Veterans. What a despicable manner to treat these men who served our country. Why would they do such a thing? What is the reason for this horrible act? Why would they put on a secret electronic list? This has nothing to do the VA not having staff. It has everything to do with a list the conjure up. What a shameful act on our Veterans

    • I would say the reason is because someone was getting his butt chewed for making someone else look bad that was higher up so they put a deceptive “face” on things to make themselves look better. Thanks for the reblog Joe. People should be angry about the terrible treatment of our Vets because of politics.

  3. The reason is because there isn’t enough staff to treat the number of patients in need, and the reason for that is there isn’t enough money to hire them, and because the House (guardian of appropriations) keeps forcing VA hospitals and clinics to close by budget cuts. Those who have been complaining about government always being too big get to own this. Quite sad.

    • I still contend that all govenment is too big and even more than that, too wasteful. If the waste wasn’t so high they could probably afford to hire more staff. Maybe they could cut a bonus or two, or cut back on the amount of ink pens they order.
