What Happened to the Rest of My Blanket?

When I first came to live here with my wonderful mistress (she made me say that) she gave me a nice big fluffy blanket. It was very colorful and filled with nice stuffing. When I first got here I was a lot younger and chewed on most anything I could get my teeth into (actually, I still do, just not as much maybe).  Little by little my blanket started disappearing. It was my fault at first because I wanted to chew on the fluffy stuffing.

Now that I am older and realize I am not supposed to chew up everything (particularly my nice blanket) I have been trying to straighten out the frayed edges of my blanket by chewing on the edges to square it up again. I think my mistress appreciates this because when I pull my blanket out of my kennel to straighten it out she picks up all the little pieces and throws them away. Over time it just isn’t as soft and comfortable as it once was. The last time I pulled it out of my kennel I realized why that was. Half of my blanket was gone! How could that have happened? (I asked myself) Pretty stupid question, right? No further explanation is really necessary.

Will I get a new nice fluffy blanket anytime soon? Probably not. I just hope my mistress doesn’t find out about the ring I ate that was on the bedside table. Oops. Too late, from the look on her face, I think she already knows.

About Kathy

I am semi retired and had lots of free time on my hands. I still work part time as a bookkeeper at the little hardware store in our small town but I still had free time to fill so I became a blogger here at The Harley Factor. I also am a compulsive beader so I started a beading blog to show off my bead work call Compulsive Beading. As I have gotten older and mostly wiser I have become very opinionated on a lot of subjects and will share them with you from time to time when I can't keep my mouth shut. Kathy Sinclair
