If I had a goal in life (other than to be just a Good Dog and be just like Lassie) I would want to be a service dog. So many people out there have had their lives enriched by these dedicated dogs. Veterans in particular are benefitting so much. Those with physical wounds and mental wounds.
I am reminded also of a man on the news this week who was blind and had a service dog that caused all kinds of turmoil on an airplane. When the man and his dog were put off the plane everyone else on that plane got off in support of him and his service dog. I was very impressed
